Welcome home

Rectangular blockCQ Fan blockRectangular CQ block

In May last year,two naked CQed blocks were sent on a long distance travel as part of the CQRR06 swap I organised;

Initially there were 12 participating and in the way of things,a few major hiccups occurred: like five members blocks going AWOL.

Whether someone along the postal services souvenired them……..we dont know but  it’s the first time in seven years of international swaps I’ve had this happen!

And yes,most of the blocks were mailed off by me.The work that was done on those blocks was really great and I feel saddened and sickened that it happened on my watch.

Did you know,that unless your mail is sent registered and you demand signature and notification from the recipient via the delivering postal service,you’ve got no chance of ever finding out where your “normal” mail finally ends up.

This applies to Australian mail,but apparently NZ has a better service and they CAN track it most of the way.

So you can imagine how I feel……more than a little upset that my embellished blocks have arrived home and others have not.

In the meantime,feast your eyes on these!CQed Fan block
