Recycled

“We put thirty spokes together and call it a wheel; But it is on the space where there is nothing that the utility of the wheel depends. We turn clay to make a vessel; But it is in the space where there is nothing that the utility of the vessel depends. We pierce doors and windows to make a house;and it is on these spaces where there is nothing that the utility of the house depends’ Therefore, just as we take advantage of what is,we should recognize the utility of what is not.” Lao Tse

And so we recycle: Using previously used tissue wrapping paper, old sheet music, a paper serviette and  PVC glue I fabricated “paper fabric” for a new life. During Summer, I also drink a fair amount of Ice tea, so the empty sachets, plus the odd paper flower and plastic motifs that have  been hiding in my embellishing stashes since about 2002 see the light of day…

or should that be the internals of the mail system?

  1. Maureen, love your PCs! Your ‘studio’ must look like mine, saving all these bits of ‘stuff’ to use on our postcards. My studio is a mess, but I think you are probably more organized, LOL.
