The count down to 2011

Here is south east Queensland it is just  three hours to the commencement of 2011.

The month of December has seen the dumping of record rains over much of the state. Brisbane has had its wettest December for 150 years, with over four times the average December rain being recorded.

At the moment I am sitting watching  (on TV) the New Year’s Eve Fireworks spactacular over Sydney Harbour.All that money going up in smoke…..when so many people are devastated by the floods, and have  lost everything.

May they receive relief and some joy in 2011, for they surely have hard work and heart break in the immediate future
