Work in progress

It’s been so long since I’ve done any hand stitching!

Yes I did sign up for TAST 2012  (Take a stitch Tuesday) with  SharonB, but as usual , I’ve fallen by the wayside badly.

So prior to going  overnight to hospital earlier this week,I prepared two Kate Greenaway patterns for use in Postcards depicting fashions of the past.

I had initially intended to make a (mini) pair of” Gorgeous Gussies” (remember them?)  Lace trimmed bloomers/panties worn in the fifties by the American tennis player Gussie Moran  (Boy! am I dating myself)

Anyway, the visit to hospital came and went, and I indulged in reading instead of stitching!
