Update on “Returning to Crazy”

At  the beginning of 2012, in an attempt to return to one of my loves, (hand) embroidery, I signed up to SharonB’s TAST (Take a stitch Tuesday)

Here it is, Week 18, and I haven’t submitted one exhibit to show I am truly trying.

I KNOW I should have a Journal, but I have decided to use my “Returning to Crazy” as a worksheet for the stitches that Sharon has posted as exercises.Of course, being me, I am not proceeding in an orderly method: So far, I have stitched one seam in CRETAN stitch and have commenced covering another seam in good old chain stitch. I will probably use this green panel, where I started with the  chain stitch to fill in with more variations of Chain.
