UPDATE: Out of Oz

I really felt bad about leaving Tassie off the map again, especially in view of how much publicity it has had recently due to devastating bush fires down there.

I had an idea about how to redeem the situation, but thought “No! It won’t work”

Then my friend Maureen, down in Victoria suggested a solution similar to how I was thinking:

“Leave out Tassie?  Why not make some Tassie shapes and hang them from a cord
attached to the bottom back so they dangle when the card’s held upright?    heh
heh just floating about in Bass Strait.”

So, that’s what I did: Cut a rough shape out of craft foam to represent Tasmania (the Apple Isle), and then used mini ric rac braid in apple green to attach the shape to the “BIG” Island, which is Australia.

Sorry, I didn’t think to take more photos.

Thank you , EmmThree for the advice!
