Doing what I love

postcardswap200bAs I blogged a while back, I signed up on the “Do what you love” site to participate in The great Stitched Postcard Swap.

Yesterday I received my card from my swap partner: Mandi in the UK.

Postcard from Mandi

Postcard from Mandi

Mandi’s card is a fabric collage featuring two
painted and treated pieces of Tyvek which have been painted with red and gold paints and then stamped with black snowflake designs.
All sorts of textures glitter and glimmer from beneath what I am guessing is an organza overlay.
Across the top area of the card a piece of cotton lace is anchored with three buttons of increasing diameter, and in the lower left corner are three
flat circular beads, in harmony with the larger buttons at the top.

Today I went to visit Mandi’s blog and received a pleasant surprize to see my card to Mandi featured!

Yes Mandi,

I DO like it.
Thank you!
