No theme (Round 19)

This is the second of two themes I chose to stitch for Round 19 of Postmark’dArt:
The first theme was “white on white”, and after that, I gave myself permission to play and relax:
I thought it was time to dig deep into my “treasures” and use some that hadn’t seen the light of day for the longest time—
like some dyed fabric that I had been saving; For what??
I have no idea….So, what did I use?
Some Angelina fibres that I have rarely used, mainly because I generally end up with them adhering to my iron—amongst other things!!
Some paper (flower) cut outs
Some flower shaped brads
Ribbon tape. I know that Scrap booking fans have a special name for it, but I don’t know it!
I bought it because I liked the colours ……maybe I can find a better use for it in Be Creative’s prompts over the coming weekend.

Nothing earth shattering about the composition of these cards: my main goal was to work in one tone, and I think it worked. At least I’m satisfied, and I hope the recipients enjoy them

  1. Well I think they’re very pretty!

  2. Thank you! Easy to make and satisfying when complete.

  3. I wish I could have taken part in this round, but still not properly stitching – so glad I didn’t hope that a couple of months will see me ‘right as rain’ again.
