ATCs: Artist’s Trading Cards

Another product of the recent “Be Creative” weekend was producing some ATCs!
At the moment, my total is four, with a couple more to follow.
Because the participants are mainly in the United Kingdom, where they are revelling in Spring, and two of us are in Australia , and both in Queensland, where officially we should be in Autumn, the theme chosen for the ATCs was “LEAF”.

Long time followers of my blog will remember that each year I bemoan the fact that although Autumn is my favourite season, there are few signs of falling leaves to remind me of the season.Holly leaf #1.

The above card is a previously made paper-fabric featuring a dried and coloured Holly leaf.
The second card features a piece of Lutradur painted with Jacquard brand “Neopaque” acrylics and fussy cut leaves from a commercial fabric.

Then came another fussy cut collage of leaves with scraps of colourful braid

3-Scan-002
And finally #4 featured fussy cut Ivy leaves against a (commercial) leafy printed fabric.

Then things start to get “interesting”!
Card Number 1 will start out on an adventure:

Lost Art – Waiting to be Found – March 2014

ATCs made as a result of this prompt. If you are lucky enough to find one of these masterpieces please leave a comment below with details of where it was found and include the reference number found of the reverse.”
I will be leaving this card in the local library for some one to FIND
I hope who ever does so, will read the message on the back of the card and leave a message on my blog:
The message to include the number on the card they found and where/how they found it.

I do hope the finder plays along and joins in the FUN!
